Paper Smooches SPARKS Anything Goes Challenge

Happy Sunday, all! =) It's time for a new challenge over at Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenges!

This is an "Anything Goes" week once again, so let your creativity run wild with Paper Smooches stamps and dies and enter for a chance to win! Here is what I made .

It's a fun journaling card shaker card! This is really simple and fun to make! =)

I inked up the school supplies from Smarty Pants set, colored them with Copic markers then fussy cut them out. A piece of acetate is cut to the same size as the journaling card and it's stamped with a sentiment from the same stamp set with Jet Black StazOn ink. After sewing three sides of the journaling card and acetate layer together, a few sequins went in with the school supply cut outs, the little shaker is then sawn closed.

I added another school themed journaling card to the back of the shaker and decorated it with mini wooden clothespin and a mini paper clip to give it a more finished look.

That's all from me. Don't forget to find out what the other design team members created for this challenge by clicking on the links below.

Mo's Digital Pencil Monthly Blog Hop

Hi and welcome to Mo's Digital Pencil Monthly Blog Hop! I am at the start of the blog hop so don't forget to keep on hopping after this! =) Here is my card!

This month's host is Yours Truly and my theme for the hop is "Hello Autumn." I challenge my teammates to use Fall images colors, paper or embellishments for their projects. Hope this will inspire you to create fall projects! =)

The image that I used is from Valerie in Autumn set. She is printed on Papertery Ink's Stamper's Select White cardstock, colored with Copic markers then trimmed to size.

I think the image speaks for itself, so kept the design quite simple. The sentiment die is from Papertrey Ink's Phrase Play #7 die and the patterned paper is from Lawn Fawn's Sweater Weather 6x6 Petite Paper Pack. I die cut several pieces of the sentiment and glued them together for dimension. It is also coated with Rock Candy Distress Stickles for a bit of subtle sparkle.

That's all for now. It's time to send you to Vili's Blog! Don't forget to leave comments along the way. TWO lucky commenters will each receive a $5 gift certificate to use in the Mo's Digital Pencil Store! =)

Have fun hopping and thanks for stopping by!

    CAS(E) This Sketch #91

Hello, every one! I am excited to announced that I am officially a design team member on the fabulous CAS(E) This Sketch team! I adore the simplicity of their inspiring sketches and have been having fun playing along. Big thanks to Chrissy for inviting me! =) Now, excitement aside, gotta show you this week's sketch.

Once again a fun one and here is my take on it.

I couldn't resist inking up those super cute critters from Mama Elephant's Carnival Cupcakes set the minute I received them. =)

They are stamped on watercolor paper with Antique Linen Distress Ink then colored with watercolor pencils and paint brushes. They are then carefully fussy cut out, there are also matching dies for the Carnival Cupcakes set if you are not the hand cutting type! =)

I used another piece cut from the same background piece on this card to ground the little cuties. To add more textures and interest, I used Simon Says Stamp's Falling Hearts stencil and light modeling paste on the card base. The sentiment is from Technique Tuesday's Say It Hello die set and it's coated with a Rock Candy Distress Stickles for a little sparkle.

That's all for now. Don't forget to head over to CAS(E) This Sketch! to find out what the other design team members' interpretations of this week's sketch and all the challenge details! You have until September 11th, 9:00 am EST to enter. Can't wait to see what you come up with! =)

Mama Elephant & Me September Challenge

Happy Monday, my friends! It's a new month and that also means that there is a new challenge over at Mama Elephant & Me! Here is the new challenge.

Combine paper piecing on a thank you card and submit for a chance to win a stamp set of your choice! Here is what I came up with for the challenge.

It's been a while since I have done any paper piecing, so this one took me quite a while to finish. =)

I chose to work with the cute little monkey and the bundle of balloons from Up and Away set for my card. The patterned paper is from Pink Paislee's Pen Pal collection.

I cut up a watercolor background very similar to the one in this card and used a portion of it to anchor the image. Some random watercolor drops were added to the card front for a little interest. The sentiment is from the versatile Many Thanks set.

That's all for now. Don't forget to find out what the other design team members created for this challenge over at Mama Elephant & Me! There is no limit on how many entries you can submit, but you must use at least one Mama Elephant stamp to be eligible to win the prize. The winner will receive a stamp set of choice. You have until September 28th to enter for a chance to win! I can't wait to see what you come up with for this fun challenge! =)

Have a happy day and thanks for stopping by!

Paper Smooches SPARKS Anything Goes Challenge

Happy Sunday, all! =) It's time for a new challenge over at Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenges Blog!

It's another "Anything Goes" challenge this week! Create a project using only Paper Smooches stamps and dies for a chance to win! Here is what I came up with for this week's challenge.

I have to admit that this is the first time I ink up the fun Birthday Buddies set and I have had it in my stash for a few months now. Too many stamps, not enough time! =)

The fishes are stamped with Antique Linen Distress Ink on watercolor paper, they are then colored with watercolor pencils and a paintbrush.

I gave each fish a little light blue shadow and also added a very light wash on the background, but it's hard to see from the picture. The sentiment is included in the Birthday Buddies set.

That's all I have for now. Don't forget to find out what the other design team members created for this week's challenge by clicking on the links below.
