Fizz and TE Black Friday Sale!!

Happy Tuesday everyone!! I am here to share a card and a Black Friday enabler with you!

I made this card for the sketch challenge over at The Sugar Bowl and the "Color It" challenge at Caardvarks.

Here is the sketch from The Sugar Bowl:

Yes! It's Annie again!! She is so delightful with the big champagne bottle!! This image is called Fizz. I can almost hear the fizzing from the champagne!! You can find more stamps with Annie (and lots of other fun images!) at Sugar Nellie Stamps.

The challenge over at Caardvarks this time is to color a stamped image. I was thinking I could enter this challenge for sooooo many times that the judges would probably be tired of my cards!! LOL!! It's hard to find a card that I made that wasn't colored with my Copics these days!! =)

Now onto the big sale!! Here is a message from the sweetest Taylor:

"In honor of Black Friday and Cyber Monday (the two biggest shopping days of the year!), Taylored Expressions is offering 15% off everything in the store! Just use the promotional code TEBlackFriday upon checkout to receive the discount. You don't want to miss up to 50% off all JustRite products, Buy 2 Get 1 Free on Tiny Twinkles, and the new TE Shirts & Aprons!"

So get ready for the big shopping day!! =)

two cards to share

I made these two cards for 2 Sketch 4 You's DT call a few weeks ago (I wasn't chosen...), but I haven't got the chance to share them with you.

First is Laura's DT call sketch:

This is my take on the sketch:

I used another cute image from the Garden Bugs image set from Pink Petticoat for this card.

This snail is so elegant and lovely!! =)

Here is Kazan's DT call sketch:

Here is my take on this sketch:

I used one of my favorite images from Mo's Digital Pencil called Makin Cards. I adore those paw prints that Bronte made!!

I rotated Kazan's sketch and mirrored it to fit the image that I wanted to use.

Don't forget to check out this week's challenge over at 2 Sketches 4 You. And please keep your eyes on the November 30th post! I am so honored to be chosen as the guest designer for that week's sketch challenge at 2 Sketches 4 You!!

Wee and Reindeer

This card is for challenge #56 over at the Whiff of Joy Challenge Blog. It's a sketch challenge this time. Here is the sketch:

I used another adorable gnome stamp created by Norma Fickel called Wee and Reindeer. You can find all her stamps over at Whiff of Joy Stamps.

I again covered the colored image with Glossy Accents. I am loving this look a lot lately!! This is also another easel card. I have to say that this card format is very addictive!! Here is a tutorial on how to make an easel card. I made a 5" x 5" card instead of a 6" x 6" one.

I also rotated the sketch to fit the image that I wanted to use.

That's it for now. Hope your Sunday is wonderful!!

uh-oh...

I made this card intending to join the fun over at Bee Crafty for the "Photo Inspiration" challenge..... But I think I might not make the deadline again... The challenge is to draw inspiration from the photo below and to use any digital image.
This is one of my favorite digital images from Bee Crafty called Whimsical Girl. I adore her chubby face. I also love that she is holding the flowers behind her as if she is ready to give it to someone as a sweet surprise!

I was inspired by the pink, dark pink and green colors in the photo. Also, since it's a photo of a bouquet, I thought I would add some doodled flowers to her dress... So you can see that I don't have the talent for drawing,,, The flowers just look a bit weird to me.... I also added the grass on the ground to give it a more finished look.

I am also so honored and happy that Bee put one of my Whimsical Girl cards on her "Bee Crafty's Designer Spot!!!" Thank you so much Bee!! =)

Hope you have a fantastic weekend!!

Thanks for stopping by!

Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge #92

Happy Friday everyone!! Thanks for joining me for another sketch card for Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge!! First the sketch:

Here is my take on the sketch:

I flipped the sketch to fit the stamps that I wanted to use for this card. These super cute digital Angel Babies were created by the talented Amy! Please make sure to go and check out Amy's blog! She has amazing talents for altering stamped images and coloring with Copics! She is also super sweet!! =)

I love their chubby little faces!! =) I was going to make a holiday card with these images at the beginning, but I changed my mind after I glued the sentiment down. I thought that this will be perfect as a birthday card for a sweet friend whose name is Angel. So I just made another sentiment circle and stuck it right on top of the original one since I didn't want to bother with Un-do... =)

You can find more of Amy's fabulous stamps over at All That Scraps.

Well, that's all I have for now. Don't forget to check out what all the other members of the TESC Sketch Crew came up with for this sketch!! Here are the links:
