CAS(E) This Sketch #104

This is my second post of the day. Please click here or scroll down to see my post for Mo's Digital Pencil Monthly Blog Hop! Thanks! =)

Hi ya, all! It's Thursday and it's time for new sketch over at CAS(E) This Sketch! First is the sketch.

Since this is the busy holiday season for everyone, this is a three week challenge! You have until January 8th, 2015 to create for this challenge! =) And here is my take on it.

Okay, so I ran a bit wild with this one. =)

The Santa is from a Birdie Brown digital set called Skinny Santa. Unfortunately, Torico closed her online digital stamp store a while ago. Let's hope that he makes it to the MFT store next year! =) Mr. Santa is printed on PTI's Stamper's Select White cardstock, colored with Copic markers then fussy cut out.

Those Christmas themed mt washi tapes are perfect for the background! =) The sentiment is from Ellen Hutson's Cozy Christmas set.

That's all I have. Don't forget to find out what the other design team members came up with for this week's sketch and see all the challenge details over at CAS(E) This Sketch! =)

Have a sweet day and thanks for stopping by!

Alpine Carolers

Happy Sunday, my friends! =) Here is a card that I made using some awesome Mama Elephant stamps available at Inspiration Emporium.

Don't you love the adorable people from the Alpine Carolers set? I love them! =)

All the images are from Mama Elephant's Alpine Carolers set, They are stamped on PTI's Rustic White card front and colored with Copic markers. I added Glossy Accents to the ornaments for a little dimension.

The sentiment comes with the Alpine Carolers set. The story behind this is that I used a non Copic friendly ink for the sentiment originally stamped on the card base. It bleed like crazy after I added the ground shadow. Oh, you should have seen the tears.... =) The solution was to stamp an extra sentiment, cut it out and pop-dot it. =)

That's all for now. December's challenge over at Inspiration Journal is "Sing, Sing it loud!" Create a project that includes anything music related in any form. They could be stamps, patterned paper, die cuts, etc. Submit your projects here for a chance to win 50 Emporium Dollars to use in the Inspiration Emporium Store! You can always use discount code wonderland at check out to receive 10% off your entire order when you shop in the Inspiration Emporium Store! =)

Have a sweet day and thanks for stopping by!

Here is my take on it.

Paper Crafts & Scrapbooking Magazine Swan Song Blog Hop

Hi and welcome to Paper Crafts & Scrapbooking Magazine Swan Song Blog Hop! If you came from Stephanie Muzzulin's Blog, you are in the right place. If not, you can start the hop from Jennifer McGuire's Blog or you can follow the links from the InLinkz list below. This is going to be a fabulous hop with lots of warm stories, laughter and tears, so grab a cup of your favorite beverage and hop along with us! =)

The people that I met after I started making cards are some of the most amazing ones and the girls from PC&S are some of the best. The magazine itself will never cease to be amazing to me. Ever since I started making cards about five or six years ago, I dreamt about having a card published in it. It took me many many tries, but the moment that I finally got my first "happy email" from the uber sweet Susan was exhilarating!

And then there is that email telling me about my first (and only) cover! Oh! I am still proud of it whenever I think about it! =) I guess what I wanted to say is that the PC&S girls probably never knew how much they meant to me. The encouragement I got really helped me boost the confidence that I so needed (and still do). You make this crafty girl so proud of herself one card at a time and I can't thank you enough for the joy and sense of accomplishment that you brought me. You will always be amazing to me! =)

Here is my first and only cover on the March 2013 Issue. The yellow Hogs and Kisses Card is mine! =) THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! Paper Crafts & Scrapbooking Magazine! You will always have a special place in my heart!

Enough about me. =) It's time to send you to Kim Hughes/Paper Smooches Blog! Or you can follow the links below.

Have fun hopping and thanks for stopping by!
