Hi ya, all! Hope you all had a happy Christmas and hope that Santa had been kind to you! =) Here is a card that I made using an adorable image from Whiff of Joy Stamp.

This cutie of an image was released in November and I finally had time to make a card with it.

This image is called Maya & Kitty Sledding and it's stamped on Papertrey Ink's Stamper's Select White cardstock, colored with Copic markers then trimmed to size. I added Sugar Sparkly Fluff to the fur trims of Maya's outfit and Diamond Stickles to the snow.

Filbert, Holly & Elwood

Happy weekend, my friends! =) Christmas is just around the corner, are you all done with your Christmas shopping? We are pretty much done with it and for once I sent out all the holiday cards before Christmas. Because trust me, I failed at that a couple of times in the past. =) Here is one more that I made using a few stamps from Purple Onion Designs.

These little guys are so adorable, I decided to make them all appear on the same card. It makes me happy to see them all together! =)

I first die cut the rounded squares then stamped Filbert Holly and Elwood each on one of the squares. They are then colored with Copic markers.

The patterned paper is from Aspen Frost 6x6 Paper Pad by BasicGrey. I stamped some of the fun accessary images from Merriness Set on the card base for a little interest. The sentiment is from Sweet Season Sentiments set.

That's all for now. For more inspirations using stamps from Purple Onion Designs, please visit Purple Onion Designs Blog! =)

Fashion Present

Happy Friday, all! It's release day over at A Day For Daisies and this week's release is called Holiday Shopping. Here is my card made with one of the beautiful images from this release.

We are combining this release with a new challenge over at A Day For Daisies Blog. The new challenge theme is "Mad About Plaid." If you look close enough, the gift that she is holding is wrapped in plaid wrapping paper. =)

The image that I used is called Fashion Present and it's printed on Papertrey Ink's Stamper's Select White cardstock, colored with Copic markers then trimmed to size.

I decided to keep this very simple, so just a few gems for a little sparkle. The sentiment is from Find Joy set by Hero Arts.

That's all I have. Please go and check out what the other design team members came up with for the challenge using this gorgeous release here. You can find all the newly released images here. Hope you can join us this week! =)

peace joy love

Hi ya, all! =) Here is a card that I made for the Joyful Creations challenge over at Inspiration Journal.

This month's challenge is to incorporate the word JOY in your projects. This should be an easy challenge for this time of the year, right? =)

I gathered up the more festive/holiday-ish images from FOLKal Points, Swanky Snowdudes and Santa Paws sets, then stamped them randomly to create the background. Here is a tip: Never stamp an image straight. If you stamp anything straight on a background like this, they'd look like the focal point and the eye would expect a "story" from them which really isn't what you want here. I learned that the hard way and the evidence is on the back of the card. =) The sentiment phrases are from Joyful Greetings set.

That's all I have. Don't forget to submit your Joyful Creations here for a chance to win 50 Emporium Dollars to use in the Inspiration Emporium Store! Or you can use discount code wonderland at check out to receive 10% off your entire order! =)

Have a fabulous day and thanks for stopping by!

Mama Elephant Color Challenge #1

Hi and welcome to the first Mama Elephant Color Challenge! Here are the colors for the inaugural Mama Elephant Color Challenge.

Use sorbet/tomato, aqua, white and glitter on a card/project using at least one Mama Elephant stamp for a chance to win a guest designer spot for an upcoming ME release. AND one random winner will receive a gift certificate to use at Mama Elephant store! Here is my card for the challenge.

It's been forever since I have played in a color challenge, so please don't laugh at me. =) I used the triangles from Trifecta to create the focal point. As you can see, the colors don't have to be exact, just work with what you have and have fun with it!

The glitter strip is created with double sided tape and Martha Stewart Sterling Silver Fine Glitter. The sentiment is stamped with the versatile Midnight Letters set.

Don't worry if you don't have any Mama Elephant stamps, go and grab the digital stamp provided at Mama Elephant Blog and play along! =) The challenge will run for two weeks from December 17th to December 30th, so there is plenty of time to play. The winners will be announced on December 31st. Hope you can join us! =)

Have a fabulous day and thanks for stopping by!

keen on neon

Happy Sunday, my friends! =) Here is my try for the Keen on Neon Challenge in the Moxie Fab World.

I was intrigued by this challenge, but I seriously don't have any neon inks or paper. So what's a girl do? I went and looked into my Japanese washi tape stash (and it's a substantial one...) and thought that a few of them look pretty "neon" to me, so I gave it a try. =)

Call me weird, but there is something about tearing and slapping the washi tapes down randomly that's satisfying. =) The sentiment is from Simply Said set by Paper Smooches.

That's it for now. Have a happy day! =)

Thanks for stopping by!

I used the fun O Christmas Tree for my card. The image is stamped on Copic X-Press It! Blending Card, colored with Copic markers then trimmed to size.

Strawberry Jam

Happy Friday, all! It's release day over at A Day For Daisies and this week's release is called Canned With Love. Here is a card that I made using a lovely image from the release.

Mmmmm... Homemade jams. I wish I know how to make them. I have received a couple of homemade jams from a dear friend and there is nothing out there in the stores that beats them! I am savoring every last bit of them. =)

The image that I used is called Strawberry Jam and I printed two with slightly different sizes onto Papertrey Ink's Rustic White cardstock. They are then colored with Copic markers and fuzzy cut out.

The patterned paper is from Sidewalks 8x8 Paper Pad by October Afternoon and the sentiment is from Papertrey Ink.

That's all I have. Please go and check out what the other design team members created using this release here. You can find all the newly released images here. =)

Also, the winner of WoJ Advent Calendar Day 13 is Pajalu (Paula)!!! Congratulations, Paula!!! I already emailed you! =)
