CAS(E) This Sketch #166

Hello, my friends! =) There is a new sketch up over at CAS(E) This Sketch! First is this week's sketch.

Here is my take on it.

I decided to dig out my colored pencils from under the cobwebs and dust and used them on this card. =)

All the images are from My Favorite Things' super duper cute Ewe Are the Best set. I did a little masking to create the scene with Antique Linen Distress Ink then colored them with Prismacolor Colored pencils.

The sentiment is included in the Ewe Are the Best set. This is a quick and simple one layered card. Hope you likey! =)

That's all from me. Don't forget to find out what the other design team members created for this week's sketch and see all the challenge details over at CAS(E) This Sketch! =)

Have a lovely day and thanks for stopping by!

Bromance

Happy Monday, all! Here is a card that I made using some fabulous products from RG's Lumberjack Days Collection!

I challenged myself to make a Springy masculine card with flower dies and I probably failed... =)

I once again inked up the handsome beard guy from the Bromance set. He is stamped with Antique Linen Distress Ink, colored with Copic markers then die cut using the matching die.

The patterned paper is from the Bromance Printed Paper and is cut using the Bromance Blooms die set. I layered two of each to tone down the colors and the flower-ness. =) The sentiment is included in the Bromance set.

That's all from me. For more inspirations using products from the new RG Collections, please visit the Richard Garay Blog! =)

Have a fantastic day and thanks for stopping by!

Hello, all! =) New sketch is up over at CAS(E) This Sketch! First is this week's sketch.

I am not super happy with my first attempt of using watercolor to create the universe. Must practice more! =)

The little alien spaceship is from My Favorite Things' Out of this World set. It's stamped with Antique Linen Distress Ink, colored with Copic markers then die cut using the matching die.

The background is created using Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolor on watercolor paper and the sentiment is included in the Out of this World set.

Noteworthy

Hi ya, all! =) Here is a little peak of how I would use products from RG's Noteworthy Collection on a planner.

I actually don't use my planner for planning, I used it more like a journal. I have another journal that I use to record my daily life, this is just a little sample of how I would use the Noteworthy stamp set and the Note This Washi Tape Stickers from the Noteworthy collection on the FSJ planner.

Here is a little fun tip that I learned from many journals that I have seen on the Inter Web. Yes, make your misspelled words into faces! =)

I used the Note This Washi Tape Stickers to tack down the business card and combined them with the Japanese washi tapes that I have on hand to make my journal page fun.

That's all for now. Hope this will inspire you to use the stamps and supplies that you have on hand to decorate your planner or journal! For more inspirations using products from Richard Garay, please visit the Richard Garay Blog! =)

Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by!

Tiny Townie Peyton Loves to Pretend

Happy Friday, my friends! =) Here is my card for this week's Bellarific Friday Challenge over at Stamping Bella Blog!

This week's challenge theme is paper piecing. Um... I am hoping that washi tape piecing counts. =)

I inked up Tiny Townie Peyton Loves to Pretend for my card. I tore a yellow pattern Japanese washi tape into little pieces and pieced her bird outfit. All the rest of the image is colored with Copic markers. Her little chick friends are colored with Copic markers as well then die cut using the matching die.

Since I was having fun with my washi tapes, I thought I would patch a simple ground for the images. I also covered a piece of scrap cardstock with floral washi tape before die cutting the sentiment using a die from the Hello Words die set from Paper Smooches.

That's all I have for now. Don't forget to find out what the other design team members created for this week's challenge and see all the challenge details over at Stamping Bella Blog! =)

Have a happy day and thanks for stopping by!

Ahh... I couldn't help but focusing on the mistakes that I made coloring a couple of those petals... =)

The beautiful flowers are from Papertrey Ink's Peonies on Parade set. I did a little masking and stamped them with Antique Linen Distress Ink on a Stamper's Select White card base. The images are then colored with Copic markers.

The sentiment is from Essentials by Ellen's Hello Gorgeous set.

That's all for now. Don't forget to find out what the other design team members created for this week's sketch and see all the challenge details over at CAS(E) This Sketch! =)

Swag, Spring Fling & Bold Buzzwords

Happy Monday, all! =) Here is a card that I made using some fun stamps and dies from Paper Smooches!

This little chick is probably one of my most favorites from Kim! =)

The little chick is from the Spring Fling set. She is stamped with Antique Linen Distress Ink, colored with Copic markers then fuzzy cut out. There is a matching die set for it if you are not a fan of fuzzy cutting.

I cut a few of the necklaces using the Swag die out of Crate Paper's Style Board 6x6 paper pad and used them as "party garlands" for the little chick. The sentiment is from the Bold Buzzwords set.

That's all for now. For more inspirations using stamps and dies from Paper Smooches, please visit Paper Smooches Blog! =)
