CAS(E) This Sketch #202

Hello, all! =) A new sketch is up over on CAS(E) This Sketch! First is this week's sketch.

Here is my take on the sketch.

Umm... If you squint a little, you can kind of see the sketch in my card... =)

I cut the Poinsettia & Pine using watercolor paper and colored them with Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolor.

Aside from the die cut Poinsettia & Pine pieces, I also did a bunch of ink splatter on the card front before stamping the sentiment from Essentials by Ellen's Holly Jolly set. The sentiment is then traced using a Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush Pen for a little sparkle.

That's all from me. Don't forget to find out what the other design team members created for this week's sketch and see all the challenge details over on the CAS(E) This Sketch! =)

Have a fantastic day and thanks for stopping by!

Hope, Dash & Jingle

Hi, all! =) Here is a card that I made using some super duper cute stamps from Purple Onion Designs.

There is still time to take advantage of Purple Onion Design's Holiday Sale! ALL stamps are 25% off and the sale ends on December 7th, 2016!

I inked up Hope (bunny sledding), Dash (penguin on sled) and Jingle (penguin sliding) on PTI's Stamper's Select White Cardstock and colored them with Copic markers. Each of the image is then partial die cut using a Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX die from MFT.

I wanted the images to be the center of attention, so the rest of the design is simple. The sentiment is created using my good old Dymo label maker.

That's all for now. For more inspirations using stamps from Purple Onion Designs, please visit the Purple Onion Design Blog.

Have a fabulous day and thanks for stopping by!

CAS(E) This Sketch #200

Hello, all! =) A new sketch is up over on CAS(E) This Sketch! First is this week's sketch.

It's our 200th sketch! Chrissy is offering a special prize for the winner of this week's sketch and it's a $25 gift certificate to the craft store of YOUR choice! How awesome is that! Here is my take on the sketch.

I flipped the sketch upside down and added a little personal touch. =)

I die cut the lovely bear from Essentials by Ellen's All Inside die set first then inked him with Antique Linen Distress Ink on the die cut piece then colored the image with Copic markers. The presents are from the Christmas Scribbles set and they are also colored using the same no-line coloring technique then die cut using the matching dies.

The patterned paper is from Chickaniddy's Jolly Good 6x6 Paper Pad and is cut using the Poinsettia & Pine die set. The sentiment is included in the Christmas Scribbles set.

That's all from me. Don't forget to find out what the other design team members created for this week's sketch and see all the challenge details over on the CAS(E) This Sketch! =)
