a card for TESC #78

I made this card based on TESC #78.

I almost abandoned this card after I finished cutting and deciding where the elements would go because I didn't have any idea what to put on the pink patterned paper as the focal point...

Then I was at Michaels on Saturday and I saw Tim Holtz's lovely stamp collection. I started to think... "well, what if I use this stamp and that one this way..." That was the first thing that I tried when I got home since I already had the stamp set that inspired me.

Here it is. My attempt on shabby chic. I admire anyone that can do shabby chic, because it isn't my style and I am not elegant that way. I guess I can say that I am pretty happy how this came out!
