Elegant Birds
Happy hump day, my friends! =) Here is a card I made using My Cute Stamps' beautiful Elegant Birds stamp set. I love all the beautiful bird cages in this stamp set. I stamped the bird cage image on a piece of acetate using black StazOn before I cut it out. I then colored the bird, cut out and adhered it on top of the acetate cage using rolled up glue dots.
The patterned paper that I used is from a digital kit called Natural Beauty created by Digital Birdhouse. I love this elegant botanical digital paper. It is really a beautiful green, but I just couldn't get the color right in my photo... The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink's Sign Language set. The tiny butterfly is punched using this Martha Stewart punch. I am also submitting this card to CAARDvarks' Photo Inspiration Challenge. I hope that I made the deadline. =)
I didn't plan this, but this card happens to be green and today is St. Patrick's Day. Happy St. Patrick's day to you all! =)
