2 Sketches 4 You - Kazan's Sketch 53

Hi all! Thanks for joining me for another card for 2 Sketches 4 You. Here is Kazan's Sketch 53:

Here is my card:

This week's sponsors are Wplus9 Design Studio and Position-it by Score-it-All.

Here is a quick tutorial on how I used the Position-it to help me stamping the trees on my card.

I first used the back of the tree stamps from Wplus9's Funky Foliage stamp set and PTI's spring moss ink for the base shapes of the trees.

I then used the handy Position-it to help me stamp the front of the tree patterns over them squarely with ripe avocado ink. The grass was added using my Copic markers.

I also used the Position-it to help me stamp the line of big dots using one of the back of the tree stamps from the Funky Foliage set for a subtle background. The pink strip is stamped with a leaf image from the same stamp set.

The patterned papers that I used are from American Crafts' adorable
Dear Lizzy collection. I love that they have beautiful coordinated colors on the "B-sides" of each paper that helped me finish the card easily! =)

That's all from me today. Hope you will have a chance to play along with us at 2 Sketches 4 You this week!

Thanks for stopping by!

So do you really recommend the Position It? It reminds me of a Stamp-a-ma-jig. How are they different? Lining things up can be really tricky, especially repeating background stamps.

I saw your cute card on the 2S4Y blog... love love love! Especially the way you drew in the grass. Excellent!
