June CCC
I participated in Deborah's June Card Chain Challenge and here is the beautiful card that I received from Cassandra Tramm.
Isn't this a beauty? I love the colors she used and that crepe paper flower is gorgeous!!! Cassandra generously sent me the link of how to make the flower, I thought that I would share it with you, too. Here is the link. Thank you so much, Cassandra! =)
I used the sketch that Deborah provided for the challenge and the color layering technique to make my card. I mirrored the sketch to fit my main image.
I first stamped Friend Definition with tea dye on the vintage cream cardstock. I then layered the flower images from Elegant Weeds first using victorian velvet and shabby shutters, then with aged mahogany and crushed olive. The butterflies from Antique Engravings were then stamped using wild honey and rusty hinge. The sentiment is from this set. I also submitted this card to the challenge over at the Hero Arts Blog.
Hope you will have a chance to join and play along with Deborah's Card Chain Challenge. It's a wonderful way to make friends all over the world through this hobby that we all love!! Thanks for your beautiful card, Cassandra. I love it! Big thanks to Deborah for hosting this fun and rewarding challenge! =)
Hope you have a lovely Wednesday!
