Real Flowers
I made this card for a dear friend that is going through a hard time right now.
I used the color layering technique that Shari Carroll demonstrated in this video. I used victorian velvet and shabby shutters as my first layer, aged mahogany and crushed olive as my darker layer. The sentiment is stamped with rusty hinge.
The flower stamp is from Hero Arts' Real Flowers set and the sentiment is from this set. I used Nestabilities Labels 8 die to cut the kraft piece on the bottom of the card. I am also entering this to Hero Arts challenge for the month. The theme is Summer, Fourth of July or Color layering.
That's all I have for today. Hope you have a beautiful Thursday! =)
