My Beach Cottage
Happy 4th of July to all my US friends! Hope you are enjoying the beautiful long weekend! =)
I have one last sneak peek featuring Practicing Creativity's July release - My Beach Cottage to share with you.
The design of this card is greatly inspired by the uber talented Maile Belles. I adore her beautiful and clean style and took inspiration from this card that she posted a few days ago. As you can see, her version is infinitely better. Thanks for all the inspiration, Maile! =)
I first made the front panel and used it as a guide to stamp the coral, starfish and sentiment. I then stamped and cut out the anchor image that came with the new My Beach Cottage set then attached it to the front panel with a piece of twine. I tried to stamp another rope border image right next to the twine, but the ink was very light and it's hard to see in the photo. The buttons and pearls were then added for the final touches.
That's all the peeks I have for you. This beautiful stamp set will be available starting tomorrow, so don't forget to check out the Practicing Creativity store!
