Woodsy
Hello my friends! I have a quick and simple hybrid card to share today. I call them hybrid cards because (according to my own interpretation) I mixed digital elements and traditional elements.
I used papers and elements from Jen Martakis' adorable kit to make this card. I just love that cute chubby bird! =)
Here is again the sheet of images that I printed out for the card. The lower right corner image was used in one of yesterday's cards.
I measured the sizes of the dies and printed the patterned papers out just big enough for the die cutting. I have an HP Photosmart 7450 printer. The ink cartridge I have in it is the tri-color (57). It's fine with Copic coloring and is less expensive than the photo cartridge. Don't use the black ink for this printer for Copic coloring, the black ink bleeds. I have no problem printing using Neenah papers (80lb.) or Papertrey Ink cardstock (110lb.) with this printer.
Here is the back of the card. I scored about 1/4" in from the top of the card back, folded it and it's the hinge for my shaped card. I used a scoring board from Martha Stewart Crafts.
Hope this helped answering some questions you have about my hybrid cards. =)
Have a fabulous day, my friends!

Have a beautiful week!
This is super cute!
My HP printer takes black ink 74 and it works perfectly with Copics. Go figure! No heat setting or waiting required. I don't understand why there would be any difference, but there you have it!
Now, on i go to see what else I've missed!
Hugs,
Lisa
