Ice Skating Marci
Happy Sunday, all! Hope you are having a wonderful weekend. Here is a card that I made for La La Land Crafts.
I used the adorable Ice Skating Marci for my card. She is so cute and such fun to color!
From now on you can get all Marci and Luka stamps in DIGI!! How fun is that! See them all here!
I paired her with BasicGrey's Eskimo Kisses collection. The seam binding is dyed with tumbled glass and the sentiment is from the Very Vintage Christmas set by Waltzingmouse Stamps.
Here are a few photos of our hot pot dinner on Thanksgiving Day.
We had non-spicy pickled vegetable (酸菜白肉鍋) soup base in one side of the pot and some very spicy(麻辣鍋)soup base in the other. I love spicy food and this was heavenly! We got the soup bases in a Chinese market.
All the side dishes are very commonly seen in Chinese hot pots. Various fish balls and meat balls. Tofu and a couple of different types of mushrooms. You can pretty much put anything you like in it. You add more ingredients in as you eat and the electric stove keeps the pot hot. You cook the thinly sliced fresh meat in the boiling soup when you are ready to eat them.
We all had fun eating and chatting. It was a nice cozy dinner that kept us warm! We are having some super cold days here and hot pots are perfect for days like this.
Hope you are warm and cozy no matter where you are! =)
Thanks for stopping by!
