Henry with Christmas Bauble
Hello, my friends! I had the chance to meet two of my super talented friends, Kelly (on the right) and Kiara (on the left), on Wednesday. We went shopping at a local stamp store and chatted away. It felt nice to be able to chat in crafty terms. LOL! I love meeting you girls. Hope we can do this more often. =)
Here is a card that I made for Challenge #95 over at the Whiff of Joy Challenge Blog. And if you have seen this, you know that I am joining one of the most talented teams and I am thrilled! Thank you for inviting me back, Katharina! =)
Yes! This is my first holiday card of the year! =) It's never too early to start making them, right? Lauren and Stef is hosting a fun challenge blog that encourages everyone to make a holiday card a week. Check out their blog - Jingle Belles for the details!
I used the lovely Henry with Christmas Bauble for my card. The patterned paper is from the Mistletoe collection by Memory Box. I stamped Hero Arts' Music Background over the image after masking it. I then inked the piece with tumbled glass while the paper was still in the die. Diamond Stickles was then added to the snowflake pattern on the ornament.
The Elegant Flourishes were cut using grunge paper then I painted them with picket fence crackle paint and covered them with crystal coarse glitter when the paint was still wet. To prevent the glitters from falling off, I covered the flourishes with Glossy Accents. The sentiment is from Papertrey ink.
WoJ's Stamp Kits are back! You can start pre-ordering the Spring Kit or you can subscribe to the kits for the period of one year. Read all the information here. Or click on each of the images to go to the information pages.
That's all I have for today. Have a happy Sunday! =)
Thanks for stopping by!
