Vday Bunny
Hello, my friends! Hope you are having a wonderful week so far. =) Here is a hybird card that I made for this week's Recipe Tuesday over at the PWCO Blog. Here is this week's recipe:
supplies:
cardstock: Papertrey Ink, Neenah Classic Solar White
stamps: (Vday Bunny) Rachelle Anne Miller for PaperWork Co., (sentiment) Waltzingmouse Stamps
digital kit: Favorite Fruits by Boutique Cute Dolls at Scrapbook Graphics
ink: VersaFine Onyx Black
button: Papertrey Ink
felt: Michaels
decorative scissors: Fiskars
dies: (tree & leaves) My Favorite Things, (label) Spellbinders
die-cutting machine: Cuttlebug by Provo Craft
other: sewing machine, thread
Copics used:
bunny: R83, R81, RV10, E21, E51, E50
heart: BG34, BG11, BG10, R37, R35, R32
card size: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
- 3 papers
- 3 embellishments
- an animal
Here is what I came up with:
I used the lovely Vday Bunny for my card. I was worried that I colored her too pink, but I think it works fine with the daisy background.
The three papers (the background/card base, the daisy "sky," and the blue green grass) are from the cute Favorite Fruit digital kit by Boutique Cute Dolls. The three embellishments are the felt tree, the clouds (also from the Favorite Fruit kit) and the button on the cloud.
I inked the paper edges with matching distress inks for more dimension. The sentiment is from the Victorian Fripperie set by Waltzingmouse Stamps. I am also sending this card to Winter's Cards for St. Jude card drive.
That's it for now. Have a happy day! =)
