Wonderful Day
Happy Sunday, my friends! Hope you are having a fantastic weekend. Here is a card made using a lovely new image from Mo's Digital Pencil.
The image that I used is called Wonderful Day. Sigh... she makes me craving for spring! =)
I had a little trouble coloring her hair... I have a bad habit of leaving the hair to the last to be colored. It is good and bad. The good thing about it (or in my opinion) is that I can match the hair color with the overall colors of the image. For some reason I usually decide on what hair color I want to use when the rest of the image is colored. The bad thing about coloring the hair the last is that if I mess up the hair, I'd most likely have to ditch the whole image (which, thankfully, rarely happens). I didn't want to have to start over for this one, so I tried to save it the best I could.
I paired her with the beautiful Once Upon A Springtime collection by Graphic 45. Yummy papers I tell ya! The seam binding is dyed with tattered rose and the sentiment is from this set by Papertrey Ink. I also posted this card over at Mo's Dream Team Blog.
Don't forget to leave a comment on this post if you haven't already. You have until tonight at 11:59 PM PST to enter for a chance to win 12 poppystamps!
That's all for today. Have a lovely day! =)
Thanks for stopping by!
