Fairy Kiki
Hello all! I made a card for the fun color challenge that my friends Kathy, Vicky and Deborah issued to each other. I liked the color combination and there is a sketch to follow, so I decided to play along. Here is my card.
I used colors close to the challenge and I turned the sketch (see it at Kathy's blog) up-side-down then mirrored it to fit my image. Hopefully this is good enough for the challenge. =)
I used the beautiful Fairy Kiki. I adore this pretty image! I printed her out using my new LaserJet printer. I am in love with this new baby! I'll never have to worry about ink bleeding again. =)
I cut the image out using the Standard Circles Large die then colored and inked it when the paper was still in the die. I used tumbled glass for the sky. The sentient oval is made the same way using the Petit Oval Small die. Both paper edges were then inked with tea die. Some Star Dust Stickles was added to her wings for a little shine. The patterned paper is from the Stella and Rose Mabel collection by My Mind's Eye and the sentiment is from Papertrey Ink.

Your coloring is beautiful as always. I love that you sponged the edges. I always forget sponging now in my copic mania. LOL
GORGEOUS card!
Hugs and smiles
