Lily Pad Cards Blog Hop
Welcome to Day 3 of the Lily Pad Cards blog hop! This blog hop started on the 28th and is featuring seven blog each day until Friday, April 1st, with the grad opening of Lily Pad Cards. Lily Pad Cards is a new challenge blog that will feature interviews, articles, videos, challenges, great prizes and more!
Although Lily Pad doesn't officially bloom until April 1, 2011, you'll be able to see a new sneak peek every day until then. And you'll definitely want to drop by because there are three prize packages with a total retail value of over $800 - including a $100 gift certificate to a very popular online store! Go here for specific prize details and contest rules.
The blog hop's theme is Welcome because not only are we welcoming Lily Pad Cards to the neighborhood, but we're also welcoming all of you to come in and join in all the fun. Here is the card that I made for the hop.
I did a bit of very simple altering by combing the adorable I miss you Gnome and the lovely Snow White, both from Whiff of Joy Stamps.
I cut out Snow White and pop dotted her over the gnome that was in the window to make my welcome scene. The sky is stamped using the Clouds background with Soft Pool Shadow Ink from Hero Arts.
The felt clouds were cut using PTI's dies and the sentiment is from the Fancy Phrases set by Waltzingmouse Stamps. A piece of patterned paper punched with the Grass Edge punch and a strip of scrap at the bottom of the card with the sentiment finished the card.
That's all I have. The next stop on the hop is Virginia's blog - Yes, Virginia. If you hit a bad link, you can always go to Lily Pad Cards and click on the next link in the hop. Please report any bad links to webmaster@inlinkz.com.
Have fun hopping! =)
Thanks for stopping by!
