Mo's Digital Pencil Blog Hop!
Hello all! Welcome to Mo's Digital Pencil Monthly Blog Hop! If you came from Heidy's blog, you are on the right track. If not, you can start the hop from Elaine's blog. Make sure you leave comments along the way because Mo is giving away a free digi of choice to TWO lucky commenters!
This month's hostess Elaine has challenged the Dream Team to use two of Mo's images to make a scene and here is what I came up with:
I used both the curly hair Chickies and the straight hair Chickies to make my scene. I just flipped the curly hair boy horizontally so that it looks like they are feeding the chickies together.
After printing the image on a piece of PTI's Stamper's Select White cardstock using a Labels Two die, I masked the boys and the ground before stamping the Clouds background from Hero Arts for the sky. The image is then colored with Copic markers.
I stamped the Canvas Stripes background on the card base using VersaMark ink. The patterned paper is from the Campfire collection by October Afternoon. I used the Scallops die on the red polka dot paper for a little interest. The sentiment is from this set by Hero Arts.
Also, Mo's just opened her new shop. She is in the process of coloring all her watermark images and putting them up on the new store so there are only about 50 or so images in the new shop. While she is doing the transition, you can still get all her fabulous stamps at her old shop.
Please go to the new shop and see the new image above - What's Cookin'? She is adorable and while it's on sale for $1, all the proceeds of this stamp will be donated to help the earthquake and tsunami victims in Japan. I already purchased mine, hope you can help, too!
That's all I have and it's time to send you to the fabulous Debbie's blog! Have fun hopping! =)
Thanks for stopping by!
