Henry Hugging Heart & Quiet Santa

Happy weekend, all! Here are two projects that I made using the mini stamps that Whiff of Joy Stamps released this month. They are not new images, but smaller versions of a few popular older stamps. They are perfect for tags and gift holder/projects.

I used Mini Henry Hugging Heart for my card. This little guy makes me smile! =)

I cut out a tag with PTI's Stamper's Select White cardstock using the Sweet Tags with Hearts die then stamped mini Henry on it. The image is colored with Copic markers.

All papers are inked with antique linen and vintage photo distress inks. The patterned paper is from the Sweetness collection by Pink Paislee. The sentiment comes with this stamp.

I made a bigger tag using the lovely Mini Quiet Santa. I think this might be okay as a ornament. What do you think?

I used the Tag & Bookplates Die for this one, but I didn't use the full length of the die. I cut it short so that my tag is 5 1/2" tall. After stamping Santa on the tag, I masked him and stamped Hero Arts Music Background over him with antique linen. I then stamped PTI's Fancy Flourishes around him with the same ink to add some more interest.

The whole tag is inked with antique linen and vintage photo before stamping the sentiment from the Signature Christmas set from Papertrey Ink. I then stitched some leftover lace trims on it before adding the buttons. Some Star Dust Stickles was then added to the sentiment and the edges of the tag is traced with antique linen distress stickles. I really like that the antique linen distress stickles looks like fools gold here. Jennifer McGuire has recommended it for this effect many times and I really love it! =)
