Lily Pad Cards Inspirational Challenge #4
Happy Friday, my friends! It's time for another Inspirational Challenge over at Lily Pad Cards. Here is my card:
I was inspired by Dasa's card here. I love the flower field background that she stamped for the pretty Gorjuss Girl and decided to make one for mine. =)
I used one of the new Gorjuss Girl that I just got for my card. The stamp name is Waiting and it's available through Funky Kits. I stamped her on Copic X-Press It! card stock and colored her with Copic markers.
For the background, I used the poppies from the Botanical Silhouettes set by Papertrey Ink. I inked them with peeled paint and spiced marmalade distress inks, I stamped off the first impressions on a scratch paper. I then spritzed some water on the remaining ink then stamped it on the watercolor paper. I did this to get lighter shades of colors so that the background woundn't over power the beautiful Gorjuss Girl.
That's all I have. Sadly, this is also my last card as a Dream Team member for Lily Pad Cards. It's been a blast working with this group of amazingly talented ladies and my BIG, HUGE thank you to Vicky and Deborah for inviting me. It's such an honor to be a member of the inaugural design team for Lily Pad Cards and I am so happy to see it growing every day. I will be a fan and a participant from now on, girls! =)
Don't forget to check out what the other Dream Team members came up with for this challenge here and hope you can join us this week! =)
Have a fantastic day and thanks for stopping by!
