What's the Scoop? & The Bird Cage
Hi, all! How has you week been so far? I hope you are having a wonderful week. I spent hours reading "Pride and Prejudice" on Monday. Definitely not very productive card making-wise. LOL! I think I probably do love reading as much as making cards. =)
On to today's cards. I am sharing a couple of cards made using stamps from Purple Onion Designs.
I used the yummy ice cream cone image from the What's the Scoop? set for my first card. This is such a lovely set that comes with a few sentiments and it's on sale now!
Who wouldn't want a towering ice cream cone like this in the summer? Especially with those yummy colors. I could certainly use one now! =)
I used The Bird Cage for my second card. I just adore the hand drawn look of these images!
I stamped the bird cage on rustic cream cardstock with vintage photo distress ink. It's then colored with mustard seed, spiced marmalade, barn door and tumbled glass distress inks with a water brush. I made sure to not go over the image too many times with the water brush just so that the moisture wouldn't rip the paper. The sentiment is from the Hopscotch Sentiments set.
That's all from me. For more inspirations using Purple Onion Designs stamps, please Purple Onion Designs Blog.
