Hi all! Hope you had a wonderful weekend. I made a card for The Sparks Challenge over at the Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge Blog.

Here is my take on the challenge:
I used the colors from the inspiration photo to color the image. I had to add a little yellow in it though, hope it's all right. The background choice is also inspired by the photo.
The cute Russian doll is from the lovely FOLKal Points set and is colored with Copic markers on PTI's Stamper's Select White cardstock. The sentiment is also from the same set. I just adore Kim's images and her handwriting! =) The cross stitching under the sentiment and the border are hand stitched and are inspired by the stamp set itself.
The patterned paper is from the Dwell 6x6 Designer Paper Pad by My Mind's Eye. I guess by now you all know that I just love all the new paper pads released by MME! =) You can get them here at Inspiration Emporium as well as stamps from Paper Smooches!
