Mo's Digital Pencil Monthly Blog Hop
Hi and welcome to Mo's Digital Pencil Monthly Blog Hop! If you came from Heidy's blog, you are on the right track. If not, you can start the hop from Lori's blog. You would not want to miss what the Dream Team members came up with for this hop!
Our hostess this month is Lori and she challenged the team to "Make a Gift." We were to create gift wrap, tags, packaging, etc. using Mo's images. Mine is a card that is also a gift card holder.
I used the super sweet Irma and Vieno for my card. The image is printed on PTI's Stamper's Select White cardstock, cut and embossed using a Labels Two die then colored with Copic markers. I added some Sugar Sparkly Fluff to the fur trims on their outfits.
Here is the tag that holds the gift card behind the image. I just wrapped a paper doily around the tag and stamped the leaf from Beyond Basic Borders set and sentiment from Very Vintage Christmas set for simple decoration.
Two corners of the tag have slits to slide the gift card in. I created a "pocket" using dimensional adhesive behind the image so that the tag can be slide in and out.
The patterned paper is from Sidewalks 8x8 Paper Pad by October Afternoon and the sentiment on the front is from Friends set by Hero Arts.
That's it from me. It's time to send you to Debbie's blog. Don't forget to leave comments along the way, Mo is giving away $5 gift certificates to TWO lucky commenters. Have fun hopping! =)
Thanks for stopping by!

I love, love this image and it is on my wish list (along with so many others from Mo's store). What a wonderful card/gift card idea!. I love how the gift card is hidden, but quite accessible. Your coloring is so beautiful - thanks so much for sharing - and for listing the Copics - it is quite helpful!!
