Whiff of Joy Blog Hop!
Hi and welcome to Whiff of Joy Blog Hop! If you arrived from Ingrid's Blog, you are on the right track. If not, you can start the hop from Katharina's Blog. I am sure you wouldn't want to miss a single stop on this hop. There are going to be lots of inspirations and prizes up for grabs! =)
Be sure to leave comments along the way. Each DT member will be giving away the stamp featured on his/her project. At the end of the hop, leave a comment at Whiff of Joy Tutorial & Inspiration Blob and let us know that you have left a comment on each stop of the hop and you will have the chance to win a Grand Prize Stamp Package! To do this, you will enter using the linking tool that you will find at the end of the post. The hop will remain open until midnight CEST (Central European Summer Time) Sunday April 1st. Winners will be announced at the Whiff of Joy Tutorial & Inspiration Blog the next day.
If you feel like chatting, stop by our Forum at Splitcoaststampers. We'll be popping in throughout the next few days and will be happy to chat or answer questions!
Now, on to my card for the hop.
I was inspired by Dorcas' card here to make a joyfold card. I only changed the opening of the second fold.
I used the super cute Watering the Flowers for my card. Henry looks so happy in his garden! =) The image is stamped on PTI's Stamper's Select White cardstock, colored with Copic markers then cut and embossed using a Standard Circles Large die. The piece is then matted with a piece of patterned paper cut using a Big Scalloped Circles Large die before I stitched the layers together.
Here is the inside when you open the first fold. The sentiment piece is cut using a die from Papertrey Ink and the sentiment is from Sending Smiles set by Hero Arts.
And this is the look after opening the second fold. I used Butterflies Border Die on the floral patterned paper for a little interest.
The patterned paper is from Konnichiwa 6x6 Paper Pad by BasicGrey.
That's all I have. It's time to send you to Henrikke's Blog. Don't forget to leave a comment on my post for a chance to win Watering the Flowers and for the chance to win the Grand Prize! =)
Have fun hopping and thanks for stopping by!
