birthday sentiments

Hello, all! Hope you are having a lovely week so far. Here is a card that I made for this month's challenge over at Hero Arts Blog/Flickr Group, A Blog Named Hero and CAS-ual Fridays.

My card is inspired by this card by Erin Lincoln. Instead of using just happy birthday sentiments, I dug out a few of my Hero Art stamp sets and used birthday related phrases to make the "pattern" before stamping the real sentiment in Raspberry Fizz. I hope this fits the Topsy Turvy (use sentiment as something other than a sentiment) challenge for A Blog Named Hero. This is actually my second stamping attempt. I laid all the stamps on my cardstock to get a balanced (hopefully) look then started stamping. Of course I had to mess up one of them. I told you CAS is difficult! =)

This month's challenge over at Hero Arts Blog is birthdays, a color challenge or interactive cards and I chose to make a simple birthday card.

I also wanted to help celebrate the first birthday of CAS-ual Firdays with this birthday card.

That's it for now. Have a fabulous day, my friends! =)

Thanks for stopping by!

Yes, it's balanced and what a great idea. I think only one do-over is impressive.
