Minty Fresh

Happy Monday, my friends! =) Here is a card that I made for The Minty Fresh Challenge in the Moxie Fab World.

I have been thinking about the possibility of making little feathers using Japanese washi tape with a little piece of twine for some time and finally tried it for this card. I did it by folding a piece of washi (minty in this case) over a piece of twine/hemp cord. Then cut a oval-ish shape carefully around the outer edge and cut little slits into it to make it look like a feather.

Then again, I don't know for sure that I have achieved my goal, but it was fun to give it a try. =) The sentiment is from Beautiful Words set by Simon Says Stamp.
