Beautiful Words + Zig Zag & a reject
Happy weekend, my friends! =) I am sharing a couple of cards with you today. First up is a card published in Paper Crafts magazine's inspiring Die Cutting for Paper Crafters issue.
I used the super fun zig zag die from Hero Arts Frame Cuts Rectangle Frame die set and cut out numerous zig zags then line them up to create the focal point. I really didn't think too much about the colors as I was gluing them, but did avoid repeating one color too often. Other than that, it's just what pleased me. =) The sentiment is from Beautiful Words set by Simon Says Stamp.
You can see the other card from me that was also published in this same issue featured here. This is a versatile issue with lots and lots of ideas on using die cuts in your projects, so go and grab your copy if you haven't already!
After the glory of published work, I am sharing a reject. =)
This is a card that I submitted for a recent call. I played with the fab Smitten set from Mama Elephant. Since I did stampe the background, I thought that I'd enter this to the Make Your Own Background Paper Challenge in the Moxie Fab World.
That's all for today. Have a fabulous day, my friends! =)
Thanks for stopping by!
