Swimsuit Season
Hi ya, all! =) Hope you are having a lovely week so far. Here is one more card for the Add a Little P. O. P. challenge over at Inspiration Journal.
I know we are just in the beginning of Spring, but I couldn't resist playing with this fun Swimsuit Season set when I got it the other day.
The images from Swimsuit Season are stamped on patterned paper, fuzzy cut out then popped on dimensional adhesives. I also altered the look of the patterned paper a bit by coloring each image with matching Copic markers. This is a technique that we learned in Day 5 of the Pattern Play Online Card Class. Day 5 of the classy was about Paper Manipulation and by coloring over the patterned paper images, I changed the look of the plaid paper. There were stripes of yellow and green in it and the pattern was a bit too busy to fit in with the rest of the card. By coloring it in green, it was easier on the eye and fit better in the card.
The patterned paper is from Pink Lemonade 6x6 Petite Paper Pack also by Lawn Fawn and the sentiment is from the Swimsuit Season set. If you look closely, I added a few random drops of Glossy Accents to make it look like there are water drops on the card. =)
That's all for now. Don't forget to link up your Add a Little P.O.P projects here for a chance to win 50 Emporium Dollars to use in the Inspiration Emporium Store! You can also use discount code wonderland at check out to receive 10% off your entire order when you shop at Inspiration Emporium! =)
