This month's hostess is Mina and she challenged the team to create projects that incorporated paper piecing. That is one technique I don't use often and it was fun to try it with an digital image.

I used the sweet What's Cookin'? for my card. She is printed on Papertrey Ink's Rustic White cardstock, colored with Copic markers then trimmed to size. Her apron is paper pieced and shaded with markers.

The patterned paper is from Mint Julep 6x6 Paper Pad by BasicGrey and the sentiment is from Tilted Banner Sayings set by Simon Says Stamp.
