CAS-ual Fridays Challenge #125
Hello, my friends! It's time for a new challenge over at CAS-ual Fridays! Here is the new challenge.
Instead of a resolution, choose a word that describes what you hope for the new year. It could be love if you want to work on relationships, or do if you want to challenge yourself to something or laugh if you want to lighten up, etc. Use the word on your clean and simple project. This is a two week challenge, so there is lots of time to play along! Here is my card.
I picked "love" as my word. Rather than wanting to work on my relationships, I am hoping to do all (or more) things with love and love what I do. I think if I can put more love into every little thing that I do, I'd enjoy it more therefore do better. Does that make sense? =)
To make the background, I mixed a couple drops of Berry Sorbet re-inker with water and brushed the color on the card base. Once it's dry, I stamped the sentiment from Mama Elephant's Smitten set using the Multi Inked Greetings technique. The heart dies are from Lawn Fawn and is cut on the card front. I also stamped an extra sentiment, cut that out and popped it over the one on the card to add some dimension.
The sponsor for this challenge is CAS-ual Fridays Stamps. Don't forget to find out what the other Girl Fridays came up with for this challenge and see all the challenge details here. Hope you can join us! =)
Have a beautiful day and thanks for stopping by!
