Mama Elephant & ME August Challenge

Happy Friday, all! =) It's the beginning of a new month that means it's also the beginning of a new challenge over at Mama Elephant & Me! The new challenge theme is the trendy watercoloring + birthdays! here is my take on the challenge.

I used the solid feather from Fair Feathers set for my card.

I tried the set of Sai Japanese watercolor brushes that I got when I was in Taiwan. The colors were scribbled directly onto the stamp, I then added a few spritz of water and stamped off the first impression on scratch paper. Some more water was added to the residual ink then stamped onto the white cardstock panel.

The sentiment is included in the Fair Feathers set. I also added some color splatters and matching sequins for a little interest.
