CAS(E) This Sketch #91
Hello, every one! I am excited to announced that I am officially a design team member on the fabulous CAS(E) This Sketch team! I adore the simplicity of their inspiring sketches and have been having fun playing along. Big thanks to Chrissy for inviting me! =) Now, excitement aside, gotta show you this week's sketch.
Once again a fun one and here is my take on it.
I couldn't resist inking up those super cute critters from Mama Elephant's Carnival Cupcakes set the minute I received them. =)
They are stamped on watercolor paper with Antique Linen Distress Ink then colored with watercolor pencils and paint brushes. They are then carefully fussy cut out, there are also matching dies for the Carnival Cupcakes set if you are not the hand cutting type! =)
I used another piece cut from the same background piece on this card to ground the little cuties. To add more textures and interest, I used Simon Says Stamp's Falling Hearts stencil and light modeling paste on the card base. The sentiment is from Technique Tuesday's Say It Hello die set and it's coated with a Rock Candy Distress Stickles for a little sparkle.
That's all for now. Don't forget to head over to CAS(E) This Sketch! to find out what the other design team members' interpretations of this week's sketch and all the challenge details! You have until September 11th, 9:00 am EST to enter. Can't wait to see what you come up with! =)
Have a sweet day and thanks for stopping by!
