You Gnome Me
Hello, my friends! I am playing along with My Favorite Things Shakers Gonna Shake series today! =)
Today's focus is on Flat Shaker Cards. We are showing ways to create shakers without adding too much bulk. I used my sewing machine to stitch the layers together to keep me from having to add lots of foam tape.
The adorable gnome is from You Gnome Me set. It's die cut then stamped with Antique Linen Distress Ink and colored with Copic markers.
The patterned paper is from Project Life Inspire Edition 6x6 Paper Pad and the sentiment comes with the You Gnome Me set. A little tip: Cut a piece of acetate that is larger than the back piece so that if the pieces shifted in the process of sewing, you still have enough acetate to cover the back piece. Ask me how I know. =)
That's all I have. Don't forget to check out more inspiration and tips over at My Favorite Things Blog!
Have a beautiful day and thanks for stopping by!
