Oddball Maya Angelou, Oddball Aretha and Oddball Bride and Groom

This is my second post of the day. Please click here or scroll down to see my card for this week's Bellarific Friday. Thanks! =)

Happy weekend, my friends! It's Sneak Peek Day 1 for Stamping Bella's new release! Here are my cards for today.

First up is the beautiful Oddball Maya Angelou. I know that she was not fair skinned, but I was trying to see if I could use this image in more than one ways. Hope this doesn't offend anyone.

She is colored on PTI's Stamper's Select White cardstock with Copic markers then trimmed to size.

The patterned paper is from October Afternoon's good old Thrift Shop 8x8 paper pad and the sentiment comes with the image.

Next is the fabulous Oddball Aretha.

She is colored on PTI's Cream cardstock with Copic markers then trimmed to size as well.

The patterned paper is from my stash and the sentiment also comes with the image.

Last but not lease is the lovely Oddball Bride and Groom. Gotta love this sweet couple!

The bride and groom are colored on PTI's Stamper's Select White cardstock with Copic markers then fussy cut out.

The patterned paper is from my stash and the sentiment is from the versatile Celebrate and Congratulate Set.

That's all for now. Please visit the Stamping Bella Blog for more sneak peeks crated by the other design team members and don't forget to come back for more tomorrow! =)

Have a fabulous day and thanks for stopping by!

Your coloring is so beautiful. I do wish very much that you had colored Maya Angelou and Aretha Franklin with their realistic and gorgeous brown skin tones. There is no shortage of fair-skinned characters in crafting and when there is an opportunity to create images of people with darker brown skin tones, I think it would be great to take it. These are real women with real skin, unlike most characters created by Stamping Bella, who are fictitious. You are of course totally in control of how you color your images so I am not telling you what to do. I just wish that, given that these women had darker toned skin, you would have colored them realistically, as you did with your great coloring of Bob Marley. Thank you for considering this for next time.
