everyday valentine's and my blog candy
Talking about sharing some love. I have my first blog candy for you today!! This is a hand blown glass candy jar that I made for my second semester glassblowing class a few years ago when I was in collenge. I also made that little scoop out of hot molten glass. The yummy Jelly Bellies were there for the photography session and for all my classmates that were there that day! I made some classic candies (Jelly Belly, candy cane, gummy bear, etc) out of Fimo to decorate it. And no, I am not giving it away. =)
Here is the real candy:
Here is a list of what's included:
- Cosmo Cricket's Material Girl Mini Deck
- Memory Box's Spearmint 6x6 paper pack
- Happy mini stamp set from BasicGrey
- Love mini stamp set from BasicGrey
- Cherrish mini stamp from Imaginisce
- An assortment of crochet flowers made using PTI color coordinated embroidery floss and matching PTI buttons
- The Do Me A Favor treat box used to hold the crochet flowers and buttons
- The crochet doily that I used for displaying them
- My set of six mini everyday valentine's
- This card
I used this simple pattern to make the crochet flowers. Here is the chart that I used for PTI coordinated DMC colors. I am planning on making a few more flowers to add to the collection. I may also add more things to the list as I go.
This is just a little thank you for all your support over the past few months for visiting my blog daily and for leaving me your love. There were definitely times when I was seriously doubting myself (like now), if not for your sweet comments I wouldn't be here. I am so grateful to have you all by my side! =)
All you need to do is leave me a comment here on this post for a chance to win this candy. I would love it if you can spread the word, but it's not required. This candy will be open until March 13th at 11:59 PM PST and I will announce the winner in my post on the 14th. Good luck!
The reason for this giveaway, you ask? Because it's my birthday! =)
To sign off today, this is Sakura (because she is the color of pale pink like the cherry blossoms) sipping a cup of hot tea after her ramen dinner! And she stays with me, too! =)
Hope you all have a happy happy weekend!!

Your hand blown candy jar is incredible! I love the Fimo candies that you made to decorate it! Glass is difficult to photograph so I can only imagine that it's drop dead gorgeous in person!
About your blog candy-this is so generous of you. :-) I have never tried crocheting so I am in awe of your flowers. That's pretty cool that you can match up PTI colours and that's nice that you included a link to make them. Maybe I'll give it a try one day!

mini valentines. When my daughter
was little, I made her lunch notes
every day she went to school. This
continued through grade school and
she has saved every one of them.
Thanks for all the inspiration that
you provide and for a chance to win
your lovely blog candy.
