more Win A Day cards
Hello my friends! I am going to share a few more cards that I made for my day on the Hero Arts blog with Tami. So sorry for dragging this on for so long, but I promise that this is the last batch of them! =)
I think this was the first card that I made for my day. I used the adorable images from the Oceans of Joy stamp set.
The waves were made using the emboss resist technique with the Flourish Background cling stamp then punched using an EK Success punch. I raised the the waves up using rolled up glue dots and foam adhesives to give them the layered look. And of course I had to use my beloved Clouds stamp for the sky. I die cut the sun out of textured cardstock then inked the edges.
I cleared-embossed the vine image from the Speckled Ornaments set on the card base. The Silhouette Bells piece was made using the layered emboss resist technique. I stamped the Friend Definition first then clear-embossed Silhouette Bells over it then colored the flowers with distress inks. The sentiment from this set was white-embossed.
This was a really quick and simple one. I clear-embossed the Large Flower on the lower right hand side of the card base for a subtle look. The flower is then stamped on the center panel with PTI's pure poppy then colored with my Copics. The sentiment is from this set.
This last one is one of my favorites. I used Bo Bunny's treat holder as my inspiration. When I first saw it, I thought of the viewing areas of an aquarium. I again used the Flourish Background for the water. It was clear-embossed then inked with broken china.
I then stamped the sea critters from the Oceans of Joy set, colored them with Copics then cut out. After arranging and gluing them done, I closed the treat holder then decorated the outside. I had a lot of fun making this one and was really happy about how it turned out! =)
That was all the cards that I made for my day on the Hero Arts blog. I want to thank Tami again for picking me and for being such a sweetie! =) I also want to thank you all for sticking around for this long post! You are the BEST!! =)
