Sunshine and Apples & cats in a stroller
Hello my friends! Hope your Mother's Day weekend has been wonderful! I have a card and some fun photos to share with you.
The pretty image is from a stamp called "Sunshine & Apples" illustrated by Elisabeth Bell available at Belles 'n Whistle. Isn't she so cute? Just a very summery image that I adore!
The yummy patterned papers that I used is from October Afternoon's Fly a Kite collection. I am in love with this yummy paper pad! =) I added a little Glossy Accents to the apples that she is carrying for a little shine. The sentiment is from Hero Arts.
This is my second coloring attempt for this card. I colored my first one on a piece of PTI's Stamper's Select cardstock, but when I tried to ink the background I messed it up and it's in the trash now... I colored this one on PTI's cream cardstock so that it matches the pps better and gave up on inking the background. I think it turned out ok! =) Belles 'n Whistles is also looking for a few new DT members. You can find all the details here.
Hope this card brings you a little sunshine! =)
We had a fire alarm testing in the condo building that we live in yesterday. Since it would be excruciatingly loud inside the unit , I took our two cats to the courtyard in their "SUV" to get away from the noise.
We got the SUV online, you can find them here if you are interested. There are a few other models, but we decided to go with this one since it's big enough for both of our cats to stay in it comfortably.
It conveniently has a covered area where a scaredy cat (like our boy) can hide in. There is a little window facing the back side for some air and occasionally you can see our boy peeking out from there. Interestingly enough, he only comes out from the back room when we are ready to go home. LOL! That's our typical chicken boy! =)
Aimee likes to stay in the open area. Isn't she pretty? She is our little princess! =) We try to take them to the college campus right across the street from where we live in the summers. We would just hang out under a tree, read a book and feed some squirrels while our cats sit in their stroller and watch things go by.
Thanks for sticking around for the long post. Wish all you awesome mothers out there a very happy Mother's Day! =)

I love your cat SUV! What a great idea! Our cats want to go outside, but we don't dare let them... too many dangers for cats. I wonder how they'd like the SUV? Your cats are beautiful, too... almost as beautiful as mine! LOL!!!
Your card is so PRETTY Alice....I just ADORE that PAPER too and have been using it!! Going to be so sad when it is all gone!!
Hugs
