Swimming for Katie Blog Hop

Hi and welcome to Swimming for Katie Blog Hop! If you came from Mina's blog, you are on the right track. If not, you can find the blog hop list at the end of this post.

We are joining in support of the Swimming for Katie Blog Hop that took place from October 10-12. Our blog hop is a week after that event, hopefully we can help keeping the fundraising in the public eye. If you are not familiar with her, Katie's cancer story started just before Christmas last year. This young, beautiful, healthy, vibrant mother of three with her infectious smile was suddenly diagnosed with an inoperable cancer, virtually overnight. A few tummy aches and then stage 4 gastric cancer. Her first post about it is here. The idea of "Swimming for Katie" came from her recent post here.

Here is a card that I made for katie.

Isn't she so cute! Her name is Keep Swimming Octopus and is created by Becky Oehlers exclusively for the Swimming for Katie Blog Hop. It's available as a clear stamp, as well as a digi and SVG cut file. 100% of the profits go to Katie's fund to help her and her young family.

In Addition to the Keep Swimming Octopus. Marianne Walker,  True = D Doodle Designs, and Jak Heath (Mo's Dream Team co-leader) also donated digis that are for sale.

You can help Katie and her family by purchasing the items listed here, or by direct donation. Here is the donation button:

Hope you will join us in supporting Katie through a purchase or donation. The following is the blog hop list. I hope you will be inspired by them and moved to purchase or donate. Thank you! =)

Have fun hopping and hope you can help! =)
