Wedding Couple

Hi all! I made this anniversary card for our special day.

I used the adorable Wedding Couple stamp from Lili of the Valley. I adore this cute little couple and wish that we would look this cute if we had a formal wedding.

We had a little civil ceremony at the city hall two years ago today after dating for six years. It was a sweet little wedding and painless! =) I colored the little couple's hair according to our hair colors.

The beautiful patterned paper are from Cosmo Cricket's elegant Everafter collection. I colored the ground with Copics and inked the background with tea dye when the image was still in the die. I also inked all the paper edges with tea dye and vintage photo. The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink.

I am so grateful to have a sweet and understanding hubby! I am not sure if or what we will do to celebrate yet. After all, we are already happily celebrating our life together everyday. =)

That's all I have for now. Off to give my sweet hubby a big hug and lots of kisses! =)

Thanks for stopping by!

Little Red & Come To Jungle

Happy Friday, my friends!! I made a gift box for a dear friend and would like to share it with you.

I again used the Boxed Lunch template from My Time Made Easy for this project. I have to admit that I am obsessed with templates like this.

I am just fascinated by the engineering that went into designing it. I also like it when they turn out cute! =)

The patterned paper are from a new digital kit called Celebrate Life. This is a collab kit by Boutique Cute Dolls (BCD), Loreta Labraca and Studio Basics and it's loaded with cuteness! It's a perfect kit for birthday projects.

All paper are from the collab kit except for the clouds and the grid cloud background. They both are from another lovely kit from BCD called Yum! Yum!

The adorable doll is from My Cute Stamps' lovely Picnic with Little Red set. She is so cute and very fun to color!

Sadly, this is also my last project as a My Cute Stamps design team member. Big thanks to Holly for this opportunity! =) I had so much fun making projects using her fabulous stamps and digital kits (available at Two Peas) over the past four months. I adore Holly's cute designs and will always be a fan!

That's all I have for now. Have a fantastic day! =)

time for a get together

Hello my friends!! Hope your week has been wonderful. We are having a unusually cool week here in the Bay Area and I am loving it! =)

Here is a card I made for this week's "tent topper" card challenge over at the Squigglefly Challenge Blog. This is really easy to make, here is a tutorial on how to make a tent toppper card.

I used the adorable "Time for a get together" by Jackie Mathews for my card. I paired the image with Cosmo Cricket's Earth Love collection. The sentiment is from this Hero Arts stamp set. The cream/ivory twill is from May Arts and you can find it here.

That's all I have for now. Hope you will have a chance to play along with us this week. Please check out all the details for the challenge here.

Have a beautiful day! =)

cupcake hot air balloon anyone?

Here is a fun card that I made for the Food and Travel challenge over at the Hero Arts Blog. I am also submitting this to the Card Style Fun and Cute challenge at Moxie Fab World.
I used Hero Arts' adorable Large Cupcakecling stamp as the hot air balloon. I don't know if it would really float in real life. LOL! I would love to ride on a cupcake shaped hot air balloon for sure! =)

The sky is stamped using the Cloudsbackground stamp. The basket is cut from one of the cupcakes from thissweet set.

The squirrel is from thisadorable set and the sentiment is from thisset. I also added some beads on the cupcake for more yumminess.

That's all I have for now. Hope you have a sweet day! =)

2 Sketches 4 You - Laura's Sketch 57

Hello, my friends! I can't believe it's been six months and this is my last project as a DT member for 2 Sketches 4 You. Here is Laura's fabulous Sketch #57:

Here is my project:

The sponsor this week is My Favorite Things. I used the fabulous You Take the Cake digital stamp as my focal image.

I also used the Baby Bump 3x3 Box template to make the adorable gift box.

The patterned paper that I used is from a digital kit called Happy Hearts available at The Digichick. It's a really pretty and feminine kit.

I love that the template includes the liners (one each for the lid and the bottom) and the decorative panels outside the box. I used plain printer paper for the liners. I am very happy how this turned out and I am sure I will try more templates from My Favorite Things in the future! =)

It's been a wonderful experience working with Kazan and Laura. They are both so sweet to work with and so supportive. Big thanks again to Kazan and Laura for this opportunity. =)

Hope you will get the chance to play along with us this week. You can find out all the details at 2 Sketches 4 You.

Monsters

Happy Sunday everyone!! =) Hope you all are enjoying your weekend!

Here is a set of hybrid mini cards that I made using Jen Martakis' Monstersdigital kit.

I adore those cute little monsters! They make me smile. Of course, googly eyes are required for little monsters! =)

I think this is a perfect set to make some fun cards for Jennifer McGuire's Cards for Kids card drive. I'll be sending these cards out for the card drive, too!

All paper and elements are from the Monsterskit except for the sentiment stamp. The sentiment stamp is from thisset by Hero Arts.

That's all I have for today. Please check out all the new digital releases at Two Peas here.

Have a fantastic day, my friends! =)

Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge #122

Happy Friday, my friends! Thanks for joining me for a card for Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge. Here is this week's fabulous sketch:

Here is my card:

I mirrored the sketch to fit my image. I used the adorable Deckchair Dreaming stamp available at Lili of the Valley.

He makes me smile and makes me want to sit down with a book and a cup of lemonade. =) I tired to do the shadow using the stippling style that Rach has been using, but I clearly need a lot more practice... Just in case you are wondering, he is drinking watermelon lemonade. It's the official summer drink in this household. =)

All the patterned papers are from Shelley Castillo's digital kit - Lazy Afternoon. Isn't this name/kit perfect for this image? I tweaked the color of the sky paper a little to better fit my image. This kit is available separately. You can find the yummy polka dot and solid papers here. The fun patterned papers are here. Here are the Epoxy elements and all the paint chips are here. The sentiment is from this versatile set by Hero Arts.

Well, that's all I have for now. Don't forget to check out what all the other members of the TESC Sketch Crew came up with for this sketch!! Here are the links:

Little Forest Friends & Four Seasons

Hi all! I have a little hybrid card to share with you today.

I used patterned papers from Boutique Cute Dolls' digital kit - Four Seasons Bundle for my card. There are four mini kits in this bundle. The card base is from the "Sounds of Autumn" kit, the blue foreground is from the "Freeze" kit and the cloud is cut from a piece of paper from the "Sunny Day" kit. I feel bad for the "Sweet Spring" kit, since I didn't use any element from it. =( I'll keep you posted when the bundle goes up in the store!

The owl and the tree branch is from My Cute Stamp's adorable Little Forest Friends set. You know I like unconventional colored animals. Hope you don't mind that my owl is pink! =) The sentiment is also from the same stamp set. I drew a banner/flag around it before cutting it out. I seem to have this weird thing about buttons on clouds, too. =)

That's all I have for today. Hope you have a beautiful day!

Easy Rider & Strawberry au Lait

I made this card for this week's Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge.

The adorable doll image is a stamp from Penny Black called Easy Rider. She reminds me of my brother's second daughter. She is so cute! =)

The digital patterned papers are from Sugarplum Paperie's sweet Strawberry au Lait kit. This is a very pretty and lovely kit. The border punch is this onefrom Martha Stewart.

That's all I have for now. Have a wonderful day, my friends! =)
