Real Flowers
I made this card for a dear friend that is going through a hard time right now.

I used the color layering technique that Shari Carroll demonstrated in this video. I used victorian velvet
and shabby shutters
as my first layer, aged mahogany
and crushed olive
as my darker layer. The sentiment is stamped with rusty hinge
.






The flower stamp is from Hero Arts' Real Flowers
set and the sentiment is from this
set. I used Nestabilities Labels 8 die to cut the kraft piece on the bottom of the card. I am also entering this to Hero Arts challenge for the month. The theme is Summer, Fourth of July or Color layering.
