Skipping Stones Design Blog Hop

Hi, everyone! Welcome to Skipping Stones Design's Blog Hop to celebrate the release of a new stamp set, "Always Here." I am thrilled to be part of this blog hop. My super talented friend Krissy Ng is one of the masterminds behind the designing of this gorgeous stamp set. Congrats, girl! So proud and happy for you! =)

If you just happened upon my blog today, you'll want to go back to the beginning at Skipping Stones Design Blog. You should have arrived from Amanda Sewell's blog.

Combined with the blog hop today, it's also Skipping Stones Sketch Tuesday which means the Design Team is showcasing another fabulous sketch from Maren Benedict! We'd love for you to play along with the sketch and link your card at the Skipping Stones Blog. Just remember to use the keywords SSD040 if you are uploading to any onling galleries. Here is the fabulous sketch:

Here is my card:

Isn't this butterfly gorgeous? I am in love with the intricate designs on the wings! I stamped it on a piece of rustic cream cardstock and colored it with Copic.

The sentiments in this set are very versatile. I love the elegant look of the different fonts!

I spritzed some pearlized water before I stamped the backgrounds with distress ink. All the paper edges are inked with tea dye. The seam binding is also dyed with tea dye to match.

That's all I have and it's time to send you to Dina Kowal's blog! Just in case any of the link broke along the way, you can always go to Kandi Phillips' blog for the master list! Have fun hopping! =)

Thanks for stopping by!

Tea dye, wow, did you make the tea and dye it or is it in an ink thing that I could buy? I'm hoping for the latter!
