Build-A-Banner

Happy weekend, all! Here is a card that I made using stamps from Purple Onion Designs.

I pieced the banner using the Build-a-Banner set and yummy patterned paper from the Alphabet Soup Girl collection. The little bird is from The Bird House set and he is colored with Copic markers.

The background is created by dragging the watercolor paper through a pool of ink created with spun sugar and water. The sentient is from this set by Hero Arts. I'll probably try my luck with this year's Gallery Idol with this card. I haven't really decided yet, maybe... =)

That's all I have. Hope you have a beautiful weekend! =)

Thanks for stopping by!

supplies:
cardstock: (Kraft, white) Papertrey Ink, (off white watercolor) Strathmore Artist Papers
stamps: (Build-a-Banner, The Bird House) Purple Onion Designs, (sentiment) Hero Arts
patterned paper: My Mind's Eye
inks: Memento Tuxedo Black, VersaFine Onyx Black, Tim Holtz Distress Ink
coloring medium: Copic
twine: May Arts
card size: 5 1/2" x 4 1/4"

Oh Alice I love this! I really do! And yes you should enter it! I think you should sit down with all your crafty stuff and create several cards and give it a try. I truly think you are so talented and would be part of the top 20! It's so scary to try but after we will regret if we don't!
