Sparkle Creations July Release Preview

Happy Monday, all! Sparkle Creations July Release Previews started yesterday and since we are celebrating the 1st Anniversary of SCRS, we are releasing four new SCRS images and two new Karber stamps. We are showcasing "Bookworm Ruby" today. Here is my card:

I love reading and this image is close to my heart. I wear thick glasses, too! =) I am reading "Emma" on hubby's Kindle DS now. What are you reading now? I would love to know. =)

Bookworm Ruby is stamped on PTI's Stamper's Select White cardstock then colored with Copic markers. It's then cut and embossed using a Petite Ovals Small die with the out of frame technique. The piece is then inked with antique linen distress ink while the paper was still in the die.

The patterned paper is from the Oxford collection by BasicGrey. I adore this collection! The sentiment comes with this stamp.

Also, don't forget to check out the awesome sale that Sparkle Creations is running this month:

That's all I have. Be sure to visit all rest of the SCRS designers for more peeks of Bookworm Ruby. Sparkle will be giving away a Bookworm Ruby to one lucky person! For a chance to win, you need to comment on all of the designer's blogs. Then head on over to the SCRS Blog and comment on the Ruby post. You have until midnight EST each day to comment. The lucky winner will be announced the following day!

Here is the list:

Have fun hopping and have a happy day! =)

She's a lot of fun Alice! I enjoy reading as well. I just finished the Jame's Patterson novel Witch and Wizard. It was good, but not as good as his thrillers are.

Oh, I love "Bookworm Ruby"!! Great DP, very Librarian-ish. I am a BIG reader too. I am reading "Pillars of the Earth". Very long read, almost 900 pages. About half way through, it's good but struggling with the length. LOL I just adore your card, as always! ~jeni :)
