Krafty Girl Challenges #110

Hi all! I am so excited to announce that after my term as a Krafty Guest in December, Kimmie has invited me to join her fabulous team!! I am thrilled to be a Kraft Girl since I am a long time Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps fan and this is such an honor. You can see the announcement here. Thank you so much for inviting me, Kimmie! =)

We are ready for a new challenge over at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Blog for the new year and this week's hostess is Sharon. The challenge theme for this week is "Time to shape up!" The challenge is to use at least three different shapes on your cards and the shape of the card counts as one. Here is my take.

I used one of the adorable girls from Sugar and Spice set for my card. Isn't she darling? I have rectangle (card shape), oval (image), (scalloped) circle from the paper doily and a little heart just above the sentiment on my card, so it has passed the challenge requirement. =)

The little girl is stamped on PTI's Stamper's Select White cardstock, colored with Copic markers then cut and embossed using a Petite Ovals Large die. The image is then matted with a piece of patterned paper cut using a Petite Scalloped Ovals Large die before I stitched the layers together.

The patterned paper is from Picadilly 6x6 Designer Paper Pad by BasicGrey and the sentiment comes with the Sugar and Spice set.

That's all from me. Please go and see what the other Krafty Girls came up with for this challenge here and join us for a chance to win the hugging bears stamp from Lots of Love 2 set that Sharon used on her card! =)

Have a beautiful weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Another gorgeous card, Alice. It seems you are having a hard time not to use a doily. I am the same way. It seems to finish cards off so pretty. Beautiful coloring and paper choice, as always.
