June Krafty Hop!

Hi and welcome to June Krafty Hop! It's release day over at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps, this month we are releasing some really fun stamps. Lulu is back from Cheryl Alger and this time she's brought her sister! The new set is called Lulu and Libby. We also have two new teen sets from Emilie Goulet called Girls Just Wanna Have Fun and Smells Like Teen Spirit. And of course we have a fabulous set of six Peter Pan images illustrated by Annie Rodrigue, along with a set of coordinating Neverland Sentiments set. And there is the brand new stamp line with its Thank You Trinkets by the Lovely Nicole Aspinall!

You should have arrived from Sharon's Blog. If not, you can start the hop from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge Blog. You'll get to see most of the new images if you hop along with us and you wouldn't want to miss any of the fab projects that the Krafty Girls and Krafty Guests created! Now, onto my cards for the hop.

First up is a card with Wendy and Lost Boy from the Peter Pan collection. I thought these two images works well together. =)

I did a little masking and stamped the images on Copic X-Press It Blending Card and colored most of the image with Copic markers. The piece is then trimmed to size. I paper pieced the blanket and added shading with markers.

The patterned paper is from On The Sunny Side 6x6 Designer Paper Pad by My Mind's Eye and the sentiment comes with the Lost Boy stamp.

For my second card, I used a cool boy from the Smells Like Teen Spirit set. I adore this dude! =)

He is stamped on PTI's Rustic White cardstock, colored with Copic markers then trimmed to size. I used the fun Scallops On The Edge Die on the top of the piece for a little interest.

Another simple design, but I did sneak in a tiny strip of patterned paper from What's Up 6x6 Paper Pad by BasicGrey. The card base is embossed with Linen & Canvas (canvas side) Impression Plate. The sentiment comes with this stamp set.

That's all from me. It's time to send you to Mandy's Blog. Don't forget to leave comments along the way. TWO lucky commenter will each win a package of assorted new stamps. And all the new stamps are available starting now, so check them out here! Have fun hopping and good luck! =)

Thanks for stopping by!
