Maya Watching a Ladybug

Hello, my friends! Hope you are having a wonderful week so far. =) Here is a card that I made for Whiff of Joy World of Ideas Blog.

I "think" this technique is called no-line coloring and you can see my tutorial here. =) I also used this technique to color this card. I have to admit though, this is the second one that I colored... I wanted to add eyes on the image after coloring and for the first (better colored) one I used a black marker and it looked hideous. A lot of tears was shaded, ok, not tears exactly, more like F-bombs. =) So I started over and colored this one. The first one will forever be remembered in my tutorial photos.... Well, I was mad at myself but at least the second one was colored in less than 20 minutes since all the colors has been figured out. =)

The darling Maya Watching a Ladybug is stamped on Papertrey Ink's Stamper's Select White cardstock with Momento Angel Pink ink, colored with Copic markers then cut and embossed using a Petite Ovals Large die.

The patterned paper is from Sidewalks 8x8 Paper Pad by October Afternoon. I covered a cardstock strip with this washi tape before stamping the sentiment. The sentiment is from The Sweetest Day Sentiments Set by POD.

That's all I have. You can see my tutorial here with a little process of the image being colored. =)

Have a lovely day and thanks for stopping by!

This is so cool Alice. I will have to try this technique. On a side note, I highly doubt you could color anything and it would be hideous. ;)
