Love Bugs & confetti

Happy Sunday, my friends! Hope you are having a wonderful weekend and are staying safe and warm if you live in the storm affected areas. =) I am sharing a couple of simple cards with you today.

My first card used the cute little bee from Love Bugs set by Purple Onion Designs. I followed one of the sketches from Day 1of the Clean & Simple Card Making 2 online class as my card design.

This little guy just makes me happy! =) Purple Onion Designs is having a Grab Bag special. There are two different Grab Bags. One is geared to stampers/cardmaking and the other for scrapbooking/journaling. The Grab Bags are $8.00 each and contain stamps with a minimum value of $30.00. Now, isn't that an awesome deal? Don't forget to go and grab yours! =)

The patterned paper is from Hello Summer 6x6 Paper Pad by Echo Park. I did tone-on-tone stamping on the pink patterned paper using Swiss Dot Background. The sentiment is from Sweet Heart Words set and the top portion of the card is a piece of masking tape attached to the card base.

My second card is another homework for Clean & Simple Card Making 2 class. It's for Day 7 of the class that required us to use either big or small stamps to create a one-layer card. I guess I went with both! =)

The little triangles are from Mama Elephant's Trifecta set. Instead of forming a pattern, I stamped them randomly to make them look like confetti. I then picked a large sentiment stamp to finish it off. The sentiment is from Think Big Favorites #12 set by Papertrey Ink.

That's all for today. Have a happy day, my friends! =)

Thanks for stopping by!
