Big Hugs

Happy Monday, all! I made a card for CAS(E) this Sketch #65. Here is the sketch.

Here is my take on it.

It's a more liberal take of the sketch, but I had fun playing with my new goodies from Simon Says Stamp.

The sentiment is cut using the Big Hugs die. I inked an extra die cut with Sea Glass ink and offset it to create the shadow look. The sentiment is also coated with Rock Candy Distress Stickles for a little interest.

The background is inked using the Gradated Blocks stencil with Festive Berries, Ripe Persimmon, Lemon Yellow and Sea Glass inks. After layering Hero Arts Lemon Yellow and Simon Says Sea Glass, you get that yummy apple greenish color. That's the sort of happy accident that we all love, right? =)
