Hugs!

Hello, every one! =) Here is another homework for Watercolor for Card Makers Online Card Classes as well as for May Monthly Challenge over at Inspiration Journal.

The amazing Tim Holtz demonstrated a fun watercolor background using distress inks and stencils on Day 11 of the class and I had to try it! May's challenge theme over at Inspiration Journal is Celebrate! And I think this card can be a celebration of friendship and/or love! =)

The image is from Penny Black's Hugs! transparent set. It's stamped on watercolor paper and colored with watercolor pencils.

I used Tim Holtz' Stripes Layering Stencil with Picked Raspberry, Ripe Persimmons, Mowed Lawn and Salty Ocean Distress Inks to create the background. The Love Word die is from Paper Smooches and is coated with Rock Candy Distress Stickles for a little shine.

That's all for now. Don't forget to submit your projects here for a chance to win 50 Emporium Dollars to use in the Inspiration Emporium Store. You can always use discount code wonderland at check out when you shop in the Inspiration Emporium Store to receive 10% off your entire order! =)

Have a lovely day and thanks for stopping by!
