Wet Paint Holiday with Joy Word

Hi ya, all! Hope you are having a lovely Sunday! I was inspired by my uber talented friend Donna to play along with this week's Make It Monday.

The video this week is from the super fun and amazing Laura Bassen. She demonstrated how to do Camouflaging Die Cuts in her video. So I gave it a try, too! =)

I inked the bottom part of my cardstock panel with Squeezed Lemonade, Ripe Persimmon, Picked Raspberry distress inks. I then sprinkled some water on it before stamping the sentiment from Wet Paint Holiday set. I then die cut it with Wonderful Words: Joy Die.

After layering a few more Joy word die cuts on the panel, it's then adhered to a card base that's the same size. So this is a faux one layer card. =)

That's all I have. You can see Donna's beautiful card that inspired me to give this a try here and watch Laura's video on how to do this here! =)

Have a beautiful day and thanks for stopping by!
